Urgent: Rescheduled Examination, Classical Art 2A: The Development of Greek and Roman Art.

Adverse weather has forced the rescheduling of this exam. This will now be a 'take-home' exam: the exam question paper will be emailed to all students on the morning of Wednesday 8 December. Students should complete it at home and return their answers by 12 noon on Friday 10 December. Students should note the University's policy on plagiarism when submitting their answers. Further guidance will be in the email accompanying the exam paper.

Final Year Undergraduates - National Student Survey 2010
Date Posted:19th January 2010

The National Student Survey for 2010 was launched on 18 January 2010. It asks all final year undergraduates in England, Wales, Northern Ireland and at a number of Scottish institutions for their views on their degree programmes.

The NSS is administered by Ipsos MORI, an independent market research agency. The survey is commissioned by the UK's Higher Education funding bodies and is fully supported by the National Union of Students (NUS) and Edinburgh University Students' Association (EUSA).

If you are in your final year of an undergraduate programme and did not opt out on your registration form, you can complete the survey now. It's easier, quicker and greener to complete the survey online at http://www.thestudentsurvey.com/ . Complete the survey online before the 5th of February and you'll be entered into a University of Edinburgh draw to win one of five £25 Amazon vouchers.

Students who have not completed the survey online by mid-February will be contacted by Ipsos-Mori by letter and, subsequently, by telephone.

Participation in this survey is voluntary, of course, but the School of History, Classics and Archaeology is keen to encourage as many of our students as possible to complete the survey. This will help to ensure the survey results give an accurate picture of studying at our School.

Answers are made anonymous before they reach the University and School: what you say will remain totally confidential. Your answers will help us to improve our students' learning experience.

We are very grateful for your time in completing the National Student Survey and for all the feedback you will give us.
