Student taking notes from a bookWith a breadth of choice of degrees, in one of the best-provided cities in Britain for the study of history, we have over 100 full-time teaching and research staff and 1500 undergraduate students currently studying in History, Classics and Archaeology, making the School an ideal choice for both UK and international students.  Our three Subject Areas are all based around the George Square area near to the University Main Library and close to the historic centre of Edinburgh.

We have moved!

At the beginning of November 2010, all undergraduate administrative and teaching staff in the School moved to the newly refurbished west wing of the Old Medical School in Teviot Place.
